Life in Newton is like a rose,
It’s beautiful, but its thorns will prick.
Its land is filled by those of all colour and race
As if it were all the planets in space.
Its streets are like day and night,
At times it is peaceful as a still pond
At times violent, as a crashing wave.
It’s the home of many, that brings happiness
But it’s also a land of fear.
Shootings and drugs haunt its streets,
As if it were a scene of a Grand Theft Auto.
Its many parks bring life to this land,
Their beauty is rare and a sight to behold.
But in the end it’s our majestic home.
